CLIMACT Scholars – Event #1

CLIMACT organises an apero to launch the CLIMACT Scholar community dedicated to early-career researchers active in the field of climate change and sustainability related topics. It will take place on Thursday 12 May, from 17:00 to 19:00 at the Coffee&Food, in the Vortex Building.

The objective of this meeting is to create the roots of an interdisciplinary community of young researchers interested in networking with peers, organise events and participate in CLIMACTS’ activities. The event is open to PhD students and postdocs (within 3 years of their PhD) and to researchers across UNIL and EPFL wishing to play in active role in supporting the creation of this new community of early-career academics.

17:00-17:10 Welcome and word of introduction

17:10-17:30 Short presentations by senior researchers

17:30-19:00 Networking drinks and light bites
